Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine traditionally visited orphanages in Belgrade on Christmas Eve Day, and gave Christmas presents to children. Crown Princess Katherine visited the orphanages “Drinka Pavlovic“, „Mosa Pijade“ and „Jovan Jovanovic Zmaj“. Her Royal Highness was accompanied by Mrs Kathy Fanslow, President of Lifeline Chicago Humanitarian Organization, with whose grace and generosity presents for children were gatheredand her daughter Miss Tracy Armstrong. Lifeline Chicago Humanitarian Organisation’s patron is HRH Crown Princess Katherine.

“This is the happiest time of the year for me, because I am privileged to be with these children and bring smile to their face. I hope that the presents will warm them and give them hope in these cold winter days. Ms Fanslow is our greatest joy every year for Christmas and I am grateful for all the hard work she is doing to help our people”, said Crown Princess Katherine.

The humanitarian aid was collected thanks to the Lifeline Chicago Humanitarian Organization under the patronage of Crown Princess Katherine, which provided around 150 packages filled with towels, wardrobe, footwear, school backpacks and accessories, pillows, blankets, personal hygiene products.

Children and staff at these orphanages greeted their distinguished guests with great warmth and joy, and warmly thanked them for the wonderful presents.
