TRH Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine attended the promotion of “Istocnik” magazine of the Serbian Orthodox Diocese of Canada at the Kolarac Endowment last night. The special issue of the magazine was dedicated to the celebration of The First Serbian Uprising Bicentennial.
Beside Their Royal Highnesses the promotion was attended by His Grace Bishop Jovan of Sumadija, clergy of the Metropolitanate of Belgrade and Karlovac, the Director of the Museum of Serbian Orthodox Church Mr. Slobodan Mileusnic and numerous prominent public figures.
The present were first addressed by His Grace Bishop Georgije of Canada who presented the special edition of “Istocnik” magazine, and then spoke Prof. Dr. Dragoljub Zivojinovic, Mr. Dragomir Brajkovic, Mr. Dobrica Eric and Mr. Rajko Petrov Nogo – long time friends and associates of the Serbian Orthodox Diocese of Canada and “Istocnik” magazine.
The artistic part of the evening was performed by Ms. Svetlana Stevic and the leading actor of the Yugoslav Drama Theatre Mr. Goran Santic.
