HRH Crown Prince Alexander II and HRH Crown Princess Katherine have visited today and presented the donation to the Health Center and refugee camp in Bajina Bašta.

On the behalf of the doctors and medical personnel, welcome to the Crown-Prince and Princess and Their guest from Toronto, Mrs. Dragana Vujasinović Hartog who is Managing Director of the “Life Line” in Canada was wished by Health center Director dr. Adam Stefanović.

He acquainted Their Royal Highnesses with the work of this institution named after the great philanthropist Evelin Haverfild . After that Their Royal Highnesses presented the donation of an EKG machine that will help the doctors and medical personnel in their daily struggle for health and human life.

After that, Their Royal Highnesses took a walk around the city and headed to hotel “Vrelo”, where the internally displaced persons, mostly from areas of Kordun, Lika and Slavonia are placed. Talking to them, Crown Prince and Princess learned about their needs and expressed hope that better days were ahead of all of us. Citizens of this camp were given a donation of clothes that came from Greece.

The youngest citizens of the refugee camp presented a small program for their dear guests, and Princess Katherine cheered them up with sweets. This visit was an opportunity for Their Royal Highnesses to learn about needs of the people there, but also to make photographs together.
