Lifeline for Young People New LIFELINE organization

After the successful charity event in the prestigious Granit Club in Toronto by Lifeline, Canada, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine held the meeting with Lifeline Toronto and Lifeline Chicago Board Members yesterday.

Their Royal Highnesses expressed their gratitude to all the Lifeline Board Members for their outstanding humanitarian efforts.

Amazed with dedication of Tasha (16) and Michael (12) Grujic, who made their own fundraising and managed to collect total of 8.763 USD (625.285 CSD.) for humanitarian actions of Lifeline, Their Royal Highnesses decided to implement a Lifeline for Young People Organization, and proposed to Tasha Grujic to be in charge of this initiative.

The Royal Couple attended yesterday an afternoon viewing of the Royal Ontario Museum with Mr. David Palmer President & Executive Director of the ROM Governors and Mr. Dan Rahimi, Executive Director, Gallery Development.

Last night, TRH Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine were guests of honor at the 10th Annual St. Sava Bal in Historic Fairmont Royal York Hotel, Toronto. Beside Their Royal Highnesses this extraordinary event was also attended by His Grace Georgie, Bishop of Canada, General Consul of Serbia and Montenegro to Canada, Mr. Zoran Pavlovic, Attaché for Diaspora Miss Mirjana Jeremic, MPP Ontario Mr. Tony Ruperecht, President of Church Community Toronto Mr. Zoran Curcin, and representatives of the Lifeline in Toronto and Chicago, as well as many Serbian Families and members of the cultural and public life of Serbian Diaspora in Canada.

Addressing the attendees Crown Prince Alexander recalled the spirit of Saint Sava and his great importance for the foundation of our identity and culture. The Crown Prince expressed his great pleasure to be among the fellow-countryman on this wonderful occasion and thanked everyone for everything the do for their homeland.

MPP Mr. Tony Ruperecht saluted Their Royal Highnesses, and stressed that for 26 years he has spend in politics, he never seen “someone so dedicated to his work” as Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine.

Their Royal Highnesses attended the Sunday Service and St. Sava celebration at the St. Sava Serbian Orthodox church on Dixie road in Mississauga on January 29th.

The celebration of St. Sava Day was an opportunity for highest officials of Serbia and Montenegro in Canada as well as dignitaries from Serbian Orthodox Church and Diaspora to meet with Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine. Their Royal Highnesses already visited the most beautiful Orthodox Church in Ontario on the invitation of Vladika Kanadski Grigorije.

Monday, January 30th the Royal Couple will be given a VIP tour of the Sick Kid’s Hospital in Toronto in order to visit the respiratory reconstruction facility as well as the cancer and cardiac units for both research and surgery
